Briefly about YAMKO Energy
We Dimitris Koutroumpas, Karim Zaazou, Martin Müller have long standing experience in the development and implementation of PV projects with a corresponding track record. In order to bundle the synergies we joined forces a few years ago and are the shareholders of YAMKO Energy GmbH. YAMKO Energy is a project developer specialized in large PV projects with storage technologies. Especially in the field of Molten Salt Technology and Hydrogen we are focused. We work very closely with our partner MAN ES in these areas.
YAMKO has been operating in Greece since 2019 and during this period we have developed several projects
1. The first complex licenses for internal storage units in Greece in combination with PV parks.2. The first complex license for green hydrogen production in combination with a PV park.
In a nutshell, YAMKO has helped to show the way to the energy future in Europe.
YAMKO's services include the following areas
1. allocation of suitable land for specific projects and execution of all necessary studies, submissions and applications to the relevant authorities in order to avoid all possible restrictions.2. all necessary studies required for the "approval path" of the projects, for connection to the grid or off-grid.3. delivers projects up to RtB.
PROJECTS DEVELOPED
In Greece, YAMKO has developed three complex projects. Two of them are PV with internal thermal storage system (Molten Salt) and the third one is a PV with electrolyzer for green hydrogen production.
The two PV projects with internal thermal storage system are:
- ENERGEIA YPERIONAS SA and- ILOS NEW ENERGY GREECE MIKE.
These two projects have the same data, which are the following per project:
1.Installed capacity of PV: 251.904 MWp each.2.Capacity of the thermal storage unit: 250 MWh each.
The third project with the electrolyzer is:
- MANTASIA ENERGEIAKI IKE.
This project has the following data:
1. installed capacity of the PV system: 251.904 MWp.2. installed power of the electrolyzer: 50 MW.3. Productivity of green hydrogen up to: 22,000 kg/day.
Location of the three projects: Domokos, Lamia, central Greece. Total area for the three projects 7.500.000,00 m2.
For the above projects, YAMKO has done the following.
1. allocation of the land.2. Obtaining seventeen (17) permits from the relevant authorities.3. studies for RAE.4. Obtaining the "production certificates" of RAE.5. the studies on the water flows.
